Mother’s untimely passing leaves two children in need of support

A MOTHER’s untimely demise has left two innocent children, aged nine and two, without the guiding presence of their beloved parent.

The woman, who had reportedly been residing in an unfinished building within Lusaka’s Chunga Compound is said to have been abandoned by her husband and relatives, forcing her to face life’s challenges alone.

According to journalist Idah Musakanya, the woman had been battling illness for an extended period of time.

Sadly, in the early hours of Saturday, she succumbed to her illness, leaving behind her young children, who are now faced with the daunting reality of navigating life without their nurturing mother.

In an effort to extend support and ensure the well-being of the bereaved children, Musakanya shared on her Facebook page that children were being cared for by a good Samaritan.
